Colonial Currency > Virginia
VA-221 $500 May 7, 1781
Grade:
PMG Abt. UNC 50
An exceptional grade example of this higher denomination Virginia Colonial. A trio of signatures and bold serial number enhance the eye appeal of this note. By the early 1780s inflation was running rampant in Virginia and they started to print much higher denomination notes than even just a couple of years earlier. AU condition and devoid of any problems makes this a heck of a Colonial.
