During a conversation with the owner of this pair of Double Denominations we were trying to determine which example to offer when we realized these notes were both from the same sheet, a fact that had eluded us. Now I find it fascinating that you can have a 'set' for display and what a cool item it truly is. Long before I was around numismatics the 'old timers' were most impressed by the Double Denominations as a collector. These notes were once folded and carried but remain similarly circulated.
