Fifteen large are listed in the National Bank Note Census but auction appearances for this Hillsborough County institution are rare as hen's teeth. The second title used on the bank, since in 1880 the City National retained its charter 1520 but became the Merchants National. Only a couple of large size notes have been sold at auction in the past two decades.
