Puget Sound Co-Operative Colony 5¢

This colony was formed in 1887 and this note, more like stamp size, was issued for the Port Angeles Co. group. The plan was to build an ideal collective community, one of many attempted during the era. They built the first saw mill, office building, homes, schools, churches and an opera house.
