This type is one of the most desirable for the entire Peoples Bank series. Building/farmer riding a tractor. This note was closely held for decades and is making its initial public appearance; in a highly respectable WBG XF 45, this collection centerpiece has strong color for both the face and back. It is fully expected, especially given this very reasonable estimate, that this dynamic piece will see spirited bidding. Along with one other type, this 50,000 Yuan is the series’ highest denomination and was produced only in 1950; subsequently, the 10,000 Yuan became the highest denomination.
