SPECIMEN stamped diagonally in large red letters perforated ANNULE; without serial number, block number, and signatures. Kinshasa branch. Text (unusual) below Specimen word indicates this piece was sent to the Bank of French West Africa in 1912. Highest denomination of series. Two men and child with head of Ceres/seated woman with lyre. WBG terms this "AU 55 pinholes". The first we have ever offered; extremely difficult in any form.
