Counterfeit. July 15, 1847. A rare bank that typically only appears in proof form, and even those are infrequent sightings. This note has tears, stains, paper pulls. The Newman example was low grade with problems and still sold for over $500, although it is duly noted that was a raised denomination note. Simply a rare item.
