Woman and sailing ship/farmers and woman with Liberty. A most unusual type given the rest of its contemporary issue-other Algerian notes of the 1940s were much larger size and had a considerably older design. Likely an extremely limited production as a completely new design was issued the following year. Not illustrated in the Standard Catalog. For accuracy, rounded bottom right corner. Given that this type is an outlier, it seems quite possible that it belongs with the fantastic 100 Francs and 500 Francs (#115 and #116) found several lots later in this auction.
