November 18, 1776. Signed by Campbell. No serial numbers. Class the Third. Intricate border design at left. Passed in Philadelphia by the Continental Congress. The lottery system was a way to raise funds that was not as objectionable as levying taxes. This lottery did not last since the payout was lower than other lotteries that operated at that time. Some staining is seen as well as edge splits at left. A vastly underappreciated genre within the aegis of colonial fiscal items.
