T-14 $50 September 2, 1861 Contemporary Counterfeit
Grade: Ch. CU
A contemporary counterfeit type that we rarely ever find at this grade level. The paper is bright and fresh, with superb printing. There is a hint of a handled corner that keeps this from a Gem grade. The only other one we can find at this grade level was a PCGS Apparent Ch. New 63 that topped the $400 mark a few years ago.
