Cape May Court House Atlantic Bank $1-$3 Proof Pair
Grade: PMG Ch. UNC 64 EPQ
NJ-90 G2-G6. Wait 369-371. July 1, 1851. 6 HPCs per proof. Printed on India paper. A bevy of nautical vignettes are seen as would be expected for Cape May. The American Exchange bank Proofs appear regularly enough and are still worth a few hundred dollars in respectable Ch. CU condition. The Atlantic bank Proofs are an entirely different matter. They rarely appear with the exception of a few Proof pairs such as this that came from the ABNCo sale. This is the finest example from that group and it should have no trouble escalating into four-figure price territory.
