We are pleased to offer the first treasury banknote (not a vale) of Honduras. This is reportedly part of the first of two series from 1880. Unlisted and unknown by Brian Stickney and Alcedo Almanzar in their book "The Coinage and Paper Money of Honduras (1981)". They do list the second series dated November 1880 in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 Pesos. While this first series apparently has the same denominations, the present example is the only surviving denomination from either series. Without signatures. Small hole top right; few small margin pieces missing; couple tears. Of great historical significance and one of the three rarest bank notes of Honduras. Tremendous opportunity.
