Massachusetts Assessors Letter 1777

Unlisted in Anderson. Dated at Sandisfield the 25th of September 1777. Entirely handwritten. Red wax seal on verso. A couple of small edge splits. Addressed to Mr. Henry Gardner. The letter makes reference to the constable, Mr. Elijah Deming. Signed by Assessors Benjamin Clark Johan Stillman, and Nathan Spelman. Mr. Gardner was the Province Treasurer.
