Central vignette of a farming family at the blacksmith's. Portrait of James Buchanan at left. Vignette of Ceres at right. Fully margined and superbly centered, making it well deserving of any high grade deemed fit by PCGS. We have only seen a couple others sell via auction in the past couple of decades, neither of which could come close to matching the technical merit and aesthetic charms of tonight's offering.
