Here is an amazing discovery from this Washington County bank that previously had a single note reported, and this is by far the better of the two. Pen sighed by Wm. McFarland, President and C.A. Beattie, Cashier. There are only two banks in town and this bank only issued Brown Backs from 1885 to 1905.
