A better Monroe County bank with about 20 examples known. An evocative town name which conjures up imagery of Napoleon's fall. Bold officers signatures of J.F. Schmidt and A.C. Bollinger. A couple of small oil spots seen in the top margin. The first time this note sold was over a dozen years ago. It realized almost $1,100 that day.
