The First National was the first New York City bank chartered. This exceptional note is bright and wonderfully centered, bearing the vanity signature of President George Baker. In our Fall sale we sold a $5 note, grading PMG VF 30, for $940. There are three times as many $5 Brown Backs as there are Twenties. A lovely first 100 charter note.
