1925 Norse American Medal Thick Silver MS62 NGC. Although Norse Medals are technically just that, they have been collected along with coins. Struck at the Philadelphia mint to commemorate the 1825 arrival of 53 Norwegian immigrants abroad the Restaurationen. 33,750 of the thick planchet silver medals, 6,000 of the thin planchet and 100 in gold were struck. Thick planchets are more elusive in higher grades. NGC POP 105 in 62.
