A very bright and typically centered Fr. 1248 note with bright bronze and crystal clear surcharges. There are two behemoth margins, which include small pieces of the adjoining notes on the sheet, and two tight margins. The origin of this number can be traced back to the 1890 Harlan P. Smith sale of the R.C. Davis collection. Always a solid four-figure note when offered for sale, and certain to perform just as admirably this evening.
