Lot #18564 - 1878-CC Liberty Seated Half Dollar XF40 Details ANACS - LOW MINTAGE

LOW MINTAGE

Coins > Coins: US > 50˘ Seated Halves (1838-1891)

Grade: XF40 Details
1878-CC Liberty Seated Half Dollar XF40 Details ANACS. ANACS notation for details "Whizzed" with minor abrasions to the reverse and scratches to the field surfaces of the obverse. Even with the notation this coin still has a good look. This Carson City Seated Half Dollar is desirable in all grades, due to the Carson City Mint halting production of the Seated Half Dollar to focus on mintage of Dollars that were in high demand for the Western mining interests during that era. Again, another Carson City minted Seated Half Dollar with a low survival rate. ANACS POP 2 in EF40 details and 66 across all grades straight and details.
Current Bid: $ 1,680.00

Estimate: ($ 2,600.00 - $ 4,400.00)
