Processed to simulate circulation at Bureau of Standards for use by guerrilla forces; 300,000 made total. These were tumbled with coffee grounds, floor sweepings, and assorted dirt. It would cause less suspicion for the guerrillas to have circulated pieces rather than fresh ones. The War Department took possession of these processed notes in later 1943. Writing on back. Overall quite decent as these can come much more circulated.
