Lot #750 - Continental Currency - ($ 200.00 - $ 400.00)

The low denomination notes from this first Continental emission are quite scarce. An evenly circulated piece and highly desirable.
Grade: PCGS VF 20
Lot #751 - Colonial Currency > Connecticut - ($ 250.00 - $ 500.00)
CT-182 40 Shillings May 10, 1775 Uncancelled

Grade: PMG Abt. UNC 55
Lot #752 - Colonial Currency > Georgia - ($ 500.00 - $ 1,000.00)
GA-69 $1/4 1776
A really pretty Georgia colonial note with huge margins seen on all sides and exceptional eye appeal. Net graded due to a repair which is so subtle as to be barely visible through the holder. Otherwise, a nice note with AU technical detail.
Grade: PMG Ch. XF 45 Net
Lot #753 - Colonial Currency > Massachusetts - ($ 300.00 - $ 600.00)
MA-193 6 pence June 18, 1776
Very few notes from this condition-challenged series receive the PPQ designation. This beauty also has huge margins on all sides and it is one of the prettier pieces that has come along in quite some time.
Grade: PCGS VF 25 PPQ
Lot #754 - Colonial Currency > New Jersey - ($ 500.00 - $ 1,000.00)
NJ-127 3 Pound April 23, 1761
A superb grade for this type. These earlier New Jersey notes are always found in lower grades and with a whole host of problems. This exciting note is a solid VF, with good margins, great color and, most importantly, is utterly problem free.
Grade: PMG VF 25
Lot #755 - Colonial Currency > New Jersey - ($ 300.00 - $ 600.00)

Lot #757 - Colonial Currency > New York - ($ 400.00 - $ 800.00)
NY-150 3 Pound April 20, 1756
A much scarcer denomination from this challenging early issue. Almost all the notes we see are 5 pound and 10 pound notes. PMG notes repaired, tears, trimmed. It seems this handsome piece looks like it has Very Fine detail all day long.
Grade: PMG Ch. Fine 15 Net
Lot #758 - Colonial Currency > New York - ($ 250.00 - $ 500.00)
NY-158 2 Pound April 21, 1760

Lot #759 - Colonial Currency > New York - ($ 200.00 - $ 400.00)

NC-166b $10 Peacock April 2, 1776

Lot #766 - Colonial Currency > South Carolina - ($ 400.00 - $ 800.00)
SC-136a $2 December 23, 1776 Fully Signed
Although the grade is only VF 30, the oversized margins on this note make it one of the prettiest examples we have seen. There are some minor mounting remnants on the back.
